The Art of Living: Our Values & Virtues
The inner compass of our community. A foundation of beliefs, practices, and virtues that shape how we live, create, and connect.
Guided By Our Values
Practice Becomes Being
A life without values is an empty life. A company without values is like a house without foundation. A community without values is a lost place without any compass
Values
Our deeply held inner priorities, what we find meaningful. They guide our choices, shape our relationships and form the compass we move through life with. Rooted in valēre: “to be strong, to be worth, to have power.”
Virtues
Who we are when we’re at our best. Values are what we believe; virtues are how we practice them — the lived expression of character, clarity, and integrity, especially when life asks more of us.
Trust
Faith in yourself, the future and each other.
Courage
Acting from the heart.
Authenticity
Life is too short for masks.
Curiosity
The unkown is freedom
The Main Values

We are all inter-connected, no matter where you were born, race, sexuality.
Truth
What we know is not by default true, and the unknown is not by default false.

Integrity to each other, open communication.

The Path (Magga)

Principles that Shape BHAe
Our Deep Values
B. BOLD
Life is an endless practice of falling down and standing up. Dare to make mistakes and one can grow. Fear mistakes and you will stagnate.
Intuition
The body knows more than the mind, trust your instinct, out of the mind into the body.
Diligence & Embodiment
Practice what you preach, first step of empowerment, place power behind every word spoken. Words = Action. Practice Practice Practice, Everyday do your practice.
Creativity
In Greek philosophy (Plato) – Creation comes from the word: poiesis (ποίησις). Poiesis is not just making a thing, it is the moment something emerges from non-being into being.
It’s the act of: coming into presence & revealing reality. They believed creativity connects humans with the divine flow of the universe. The artist is a channel through which form enters the world.
Nurturing
Nurturing yourself, the earth, people and animals. To act of serving, giving without attachment, giving love and warmth without boundaries.
Tantric Life
Freedom of sexual expression. Embracing sexuality as a normal state of being. It’s the inner fire, the power for change; the shakti.
“Shakti (शक्ति) is a Sanskrit word meaning:
Shakti is the active, creative energy that gives rise to life, (sexual) expression, emotion & change. It is the Divine Feminine, not as gender, but as the cosmic force that animates everything”
Practising Tantra or Shakti opens up deep wisdom, abundance, goddess energy, grace & elegance and the connection to orgasmic life. Grace towards life, opens eyes and sees life in all its abundance. Seeing the beauty in everything around us and transforming the unnecessary.
Root verb: śak = “to be able, to have power.” So Shakti = the power to make anything possible.
Self Love
First the being, then the doing.
The inside reflects the outside. Without deep self-love, destruction follows. Without deep self-love, no one can truly understand or give love.
Empowerment
Western definition of power: wealth and/or status quo. Which leads to greed = suffering. Real power is embedded in the practice of: Concentration, Insights, Faith, Mindfulness and Diligence.
Boundaries
Practising our boundaries with each other – boundaries are discovered when crossed over. Which requires a safe environment. Some boundaries are blockages of your growth and some are crossing over your values. Art of communication. Boundaries change over time, constant communication is always key.
Mirroring
Looking into the mirror, the ego finds it easy to look for reasons and blame the outside world. The mirror is a beautiful item / metaphor to force the ego to look at one self. A mirror is a tool to reflect and look deeply inside one’s self. Friends can be mirrors , family members , people who stay close should hold the mirror for you.
As Marcus Aurelius – Great Emperor of Rome – 2000 years ago – appointed one person to walk side by side, mirroring him → correcting him when not speaking the truth, lack of action, to keep him close to what really matters.
Ceremonies/Rituals
A moment to enter the here and now, remember what is important, taking your first deep breath. Ceremonies and Rituals hold us close to what really matters. They are since the beginning of mankind the most important moments.
Music and Dance has always been the tools to reconnect with each other, nature and the cosmos. To enter a trance like state by dropping from the mind into the body. Nowadays we call it a party, but back in the day it was a ceremony.
Teacher is Nature
Daoism (Taoism) is a philosophy, a way of life that arose in the 6th century BCE in China. Nature, not people, ultimately controls how things change. Humans and their rules are less important. Nature as the teacher of life, because we are Nature.
Following these principles: The Tao: The Way of Nature, Wu Wei: Effortless Action/ simplicity, Yin-Yang: Health/ Spiritual Practices, Practice of Zen: Realizing your true nature.
